Notice of Fee Revision and Acceptance Limits

Administrative Scrivener Sakura Office has consistently strived to provide high-quality legal services specializing in status of residence (visa) applications. Due to recent changes in the social environment and practical requirements, we have decided to revise our fee schedule effective May 2026.

We would like to explain the background and our future operational policies as follows:

1. Response to Legal Reforms and Increased Examination Standards

In light of the recent amendments to the Immigration Control Act, the significant increase in immigration filing fees scheduled for fiscal year 2026, and the overall tightening of examination procedures, the complexity of verifying facts and scrutinizing documents has increased. To ensure a higher probability of permission, we must maintain an even more detailed investigation and advanced document preparation system.

2. Maintenance of Quality and Prioritization of Existing Clients

Our priority is to perform our duties safely and responsibly for each individual application. Due to the recent increase in the volume of requests, we are currently prioritizing ongoing support for our existing clients. As a result, we may temporarily limit the number of new cases we accept to maintain and improve our quality of service. We appreciate your understanding of this measure to ensure we provide support under the best possible conditions.

3. Rising Operational Costs due to Inflation

Due to recent price increases, the costs of maintaining and managing our office have risen. We have decided to review our fees to absorb these costs and continue providing stable, professional services.

[Important: Transition Period for Old Fees]

As this revision is being implemented without a prior notice period, we are offering the following transitional measures for those who have been considering our services:

Eligibility: Those who formally apply and complete the payment of the retainer fee by May 31, 2026.
Offer: We will accept the case at the old fee rate (prior to the revision).

We are currently experiencing a high volume of inquiries. As mentioned above, we may limit the number of cases we accept, and further congestion is expected as the official immigration filing fee revision approaches. If there is insufficient time before your visa expiration, we may not be able to meet your request. We strongly recommend consulting or making a reservation as early as possible (ideally 3 to 4 months before your expiration date).
